This venue is itself an interesting piece of architecture, designed by Giovanni Muzio and built in 1931-33 specifically for exhibitions. The Torre Branca nearby offers the chance to see Milan from about 100 metres up, at certain times of day and evening. The Just Cavalli cafè is at the base of the tower for chic aperitifs.
• Until 8 February: Alberto Burri. Solo show dedicated to one of Italy’s most important 20th century artists. Entrance €5/8
• Until 28 February: Italian Design History. As well as objects for the home, the show includes projections by Peter Greenaway and a number of Italian film directors.
• Until 18 January: Il Parco. Solo show by Marina Ballo Charmet. Photos and video.
• Until 25 January: Design ultrapoverissimo. A selection of Riccardo Dalisi’s "ultra-poor” designs; a term used to indicate a style bereft of exterior richness.
