• Until 8 February: Lisette Model and her followers: Diane Arbus, Bruce Cratsley, Elaine Ellman, Larry Fink, Peter Hujar, Raymond Jacobs, Ruth Kaplan, Leon Levinstein, Eva Rubinstein, Gary Schneider, Rosalind Solomon and Bruce Weber. “Private portraits” is a succinct description of Lisette Model’s approach. With a keen sense of observation and a personal, ironic style, Lisette Model portrayed France and America during the second half of the 20th century: public beaches on Coney Island, jazz clubs, the prosperity and abandon of Fifth Avenue, or simple gatherings on the streets.
